about Me...
I've always been a crafter. Sitting and doing nothing never worked for me. Through the years I've made wood crafts and miniatures as small as 1/1000th of an inch (magnifying glass small). I've done crocheting, scrapbooking, jewelry making, sewing, counted cross stitch, mini and regular size Perler bead projects. I still work on some of these projects. My newest addition is Diamond Painting.
When gnomes started coming out, I fell in love, but couldn't find ones that I was really happy with. In my usual fashion, I had to make my own. The collection grew and took over my house. It was time to start going to vendor & craft shows so by D & B was born.
Before I forget, I'm Doreen and my loving & very understanding husband Bob is always here to lend a hand. We live in New Jersey with our son and 2 dogs.

At by D & B, I am passionate about creating unique and high-quality handmade products. I use 9 different glues, high quality fabrics, and many other items to create my gnomes. If I'm not happy, it doesn't make the table.
Each gnome is unique and special. I don't use patterns so no two are ever exactly alike. As someone said, I pick up a piece of fabric & start cutting. I also get bored easily, so I don't make too many of the same style.
